Workshop Objectives:
- Create and sustain an equitable, inclusive classroom that centers race, diversity, cultural competence, and social justice.
- Support teachers in self-assessing and addressing potential biases toward students of color and underserved students.
- Promote strategies that encourage students of color and underserved students to persist and achieve excellence despite challenges.
About Principal Kafele:
- Highly regarded educator with 38 years of experience as a master teacher, transformational leader, and internationally recognized speaker, consultant, and author.
