Assessment Summit 2021
This year’s virtual Assessment Summit for faculty, staff and administrators featured an introductory main session and three 30-minute concurrent breakout sessions. These sessions addressed the summit theme of Sharing Data to Support Assessment and Build Partnerships. The breakout sessions were followed by a video compilation of 5 minute presentations. The event concluded with closing remarks and the Assessment Academy Awards. Seventeen of our highly acclaimed faculty and staff were recognized for their numerous contributions to the field of institutional effectiveness.
There were more than 140 faculty/staff members present at this informative, engaging, and fun virtual summit. Despite some funny technical glitches, it was a successful event. Some testimonials from attendees are below:
“It was interactive and kept the participants’ attention.”
"I look forward to it every year. Its stability.”
“It was very complete; the hosts were very well prepared.”
“It was well organized and informative.”
“Lots of great ideas and information were shared.”
“The ability to see and interact with colleagues that we have not seen in a while. Usually you can't even see the participants’ names on WebEx. The meeting format proved beneficial. Sense of community-oneness. The variety of breakout sessions to choose from.”
“The event was well-organized and flowed nicely.”
“The staff covered all of the details and were very helpful with anticipating technical support needs.”
