DSU Summer Camp Hosts
Any faculty or staff, or external clients who are interested in hosting a camp this summer must follow the Summer Camp Guidelines in order to get your camp approved.
PLEASE NOTE: there is limited housing available this summer due to the construction of the new residence hall, so it is critical that all housing requests are submitted immediately as they will be granted on a first come, first served basis until all available rooms are filled. Please submit all camp information and questions to Dr. Elizabeth Stewart, Assistant Director for Campus Events, at campusevents [at] desu.edu.
Event Facilities at Delaware State University
Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center
Completed in 2009, this complex houses a Chick-Fil-A, DSU bookstore, a post office, commuter lounge, and a modest stage on the first floor. The student center’s second floor has a 7,656-square-foot auditorium that may be partitioned into three separate parlors, which together have the capacity to hold 750 people.
Bank of America Building
Located in the heart of the Delaware State University campus, the Bank of America building houses abundant space for your next business meeting, conference, seminar, or small event.
Education and Humanities Theater
Set to seat 985 people comfortably, the Education and Humanities Theater is fully operational and equipped with generous admission, seating, and staging areas for any event. Additionally, dressing rooms are available for all pre-performance preparations.
