Advisement FAQs and Resources

  1. Academic Advisement Period and Pre-Registration
    • The Academic Advisement Period allows students to discuss their academic plan and course schedule for next semester with Advisors. All students must have their course schedules approved by an Advisor before they are allowed to schedule classes during Pre-Registration.

    • Undergraduates are encouraged to attend Student Success Workshops, designed to enlighten and empower students to excel in college. The workshops will cover topics such as academics, diversity, professionalism, and health and wellness.   5. Center for Disability Resources (CDR)
    • The Center of Disability Resources (CDR)’s mission is to provide equal opportunities and equal access to education, programs, and activities for all students with disabilities at Delaware State University.  Ms. Juliana Senyk, your Student Accommodations Coordinator,  will meet with students virtually to assist them.     • The William C. Jason Library is a central hub for the DSU community. It serves as a resource for coursework, collections, study groups, and research. If students need assistance with research or have general questions about the library, please use the contact information below.

  10. Honors 
    • Honor Students can contact Mrs. Shonda Poe, Director Office of Undergraduate Research Experiential Learning and Honors (URELAH), for assistance.  Additionally, Honors students should also contact their primary Advisor to ensure a successful transition, compliance, and satisfactory academic progress during this period. Your primary Advisor and Program Director are here to assist you with a successful transition, compliance, and satisfactory academic progress.
