Student Impact Fund

The Student Impact Fund is Delaware State University’s most flexible and immediate resource for supporting student success. It exists to ensure that every Hornet has the opportunity to pursue their education without interruption, no matter what challenges may arise.

Gifts to the Student Impact Fund directly address critical needs, such as:

• Emergency Relief – assisting students during unexpected hardships like food insecurity, housing needs, or medical expenses.
• Technology and Learning Tools – ensuring access to laptops, software, and other resources essential for academic success.
• Wellness and Basic Needs – providing support for health, counseling, and services that keep students thriving inside and outside the classroom.
• Student Success Initiatives – funding opportunities such as internships, networking programs, and career readiness initiatives.

Because the Fund is unrestricted, it allows the University to respond quickly and strategically to the areas of greatest need. Whether it’s helping a first-generation student purchase course materials, assisting a senior who just needs a little extra aid to finish their degree, or providing emergency relief after an unexpected crisis, the Student Impact Fund empowers DSU to act immediately and make a lasting difference.
