Using Accomodate

WHAT IS ACCOMMODATE?

Accommodate is an accommodation management system used by the Center for Disability Resources (CDR) that will help you easily request and manage your accommodations, automatically send Accommodation Letters to faculty, as well as effectively interact with the Center for Disability Resources (CDR).

START HERE!

New students and Current students who are first time Accommodate users can follow the instructions to complete a Student Accommodation Request form.

  • Request accommodations for the first time:
    • To register and submit your medical documentation please begin by completing the Student Accommodation Request form and be sure to select “Student” and “This is my first time requesting accommodations at DSU”.
  • Renew your Accommodation Letter for Fall 2025:
    • Fill out the Explore Accommodate - Explore the Accommodate tutorials (coming soon) on the Student Accommodation Request form and be sure to select “Student” and “I have previously received accommodations at DSU”.
  • View your profile in Accommodate: this is where you can see your documentation, any accommodations you are approved for, send your Accommodation Letters to professors, and request appointments with CDR staff. 
  • Request a Meeting with the CDR: Do you have questions or concerns?  You can always login to Accommodate and request a meeting!
    • Login to Accommodate and select “Make an Appointment” then click the “Request New Appointment” button and follow the prompts. (How to request an appointment in Accommodate)
