Dates and Deadlines

New first-year students will be invited to attend a New Student Orientation (NSO) session at their campus of admission. You will speak with advisers during NSO who will discuss your ALEKS score, your academic interests, and your academic background with you. Advisers will help you schedule appropriate courses during orientation.

It is mandatory for ALL NEW STUDENTS to complete the ALEKS Math Placement Assessment before their scheduled New Student Orientation date. Failure to take the ALEKS math assessment prior to your selected NSO date may alter your NSO schedule of activities as well as incomplete schedules.

* NOTE: ALEKS is for all new students…Freshmen or Transfer, even those bringing in college credits.  There are no exemptions. This is to ensure that all students are placed in the appropriate math class based on their chosen major
