Campus Guests with Disabilities

Welcome to Delaware State University! We are thrilled that you have chosen to visit one of our beautiful campuses and/or take part in an online event or resource offered through the University. Here at DSU we value all aspects of diversity and want to ensure that any campus guest with a disability receives equal and equitable access to our programs, goods, and services.

The Center for Disability Resources is available to work with any Campus Guest who has a disability and is requesting a reasonable accommodation in order to have equal and equitable access.

Accommodation Request Process – Campus Guests

  1. Complete the Campus Guest Request for Accommodations Form.
    • NOTE: Requests for ASL Interpreters and other service providers must be received one week (7 calendar days) before the event.
  2. You will receive an email or phone call from the Center for Disability Resources to gather any needed information.
  3. You will receive email confirmation from the Center for Disability Resources including any day-of details once any accommodations have been arranged.

Already on Campus?

If, at any point, a person with a disability visiting a Delaware State University Campus or taking part in an online event encounters an unexpected barrier to access, they should contact the Director as soon as possible to report the issue and request any needed, reasonable modifications.
