Through High School and Community Based Organization Partnerships, Delaware State University’s Dual Enrollment attracts some of the best and brightest scholars to take college courses while enrolled in High School. Delaware State University offers two forms of Dual Enrollment.

Benefits 

  • High School scholars can earn college credit at a more affordable price.
  • High School scholars can simultaneously complete their high school courses and get a jump start by taking college courses.
  • Develop valuable skills by being exposed to college-level courses that will prepare them for their future college experiences.
  • Having access to DSU resources such as tutoring, advising, and library materials. Some restrictions may apply.
  • Prepare high school scholars for college level course work and a successful transition to your next higher learning institution.
  • Taking Dual Enrollment courses will count towards your College GPA

Hornets Fast Track 

  • College courses are taught by high school teachers or licensed instructors on your high school campus.
  • Scholars will continuously complete their high school and college credits.
  • General education courses such as English, Math, and History offered. Please contact your high school college counselor or principal for specific course offerings.
  • If high schools cannot provide instructors, courses may be taught by Delaware State University via zoom, and additional fees will apply

DSU Campus Based

  • College courses taught by DSU faculty from the university campus via Zoom synchronous and asynchronous.
  • DSU will offer a greater selection of courses. Ideal for scholars looking to register for specific subject areas that are not offered at your local high school.
  • Added value will allow scholars the opportunity to visit the campus and participate in university resources.
  • Delaware State University offers programs within the College of Education, College of Humanities, College of Engineering, and College of Business.
