Learn more about the Presidential Scholarship
- Presidential Scholarship is a competitive, merit-based award offered by the Office of Admissions to entering full-time, first-year freshmen who are United States citizens. This four-year scholarship (Fall and Spring semesters only) covers the entire cost of college, including up to 18 credit hours per semester, mandatory fees (only registration, complex, student activity, and technology fees), room and board if applicable, and textbooks. While comprehensive, the award does not cover the remaining gap between the total cost of attendance and any Federal Title IV aid (e.g., Pell, SEOG) and/or state grant funding (e.g., Inspire, Aid for Needy Students) or any program and course associated fees. Students must be regularly admitted and must enroll in the fall semester immediately following high school graduation to become eligible.
Please note that only a select group of students will be chosen to receive this prestigious scholarship.
- A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.90 or higher
- American College Test (ACT) 27 or above
or - Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) 1260 or above
- Currently a Senior in high school
Students who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are accepted will be contacted to complete the Presidential Scholarship Questionnaire by March 13. Those who submit the questionnaire by the designated deadline will advance to the interview stage, enabling the committee to identify the most qualified candidates for this merit-based award. It is important to note that only a limited number of students will be selected to receive this esteemed scholarship.
