The 8th annual DSU President’s Prayer Breakfast featured a new host this year as Dr. Wilma Mishoe – just appointed as the University’s permanent chief executive in June – welcomed the community to join her in seeking the Lord and in hearing the music and words that highlighted the morning.

About 350 people – which included ministers and everyday church folks along with elected officials, community leaders and University members – attended the Sept. 14 event, which was held in the parlors of the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center.
