Wednesday, March 14, 2018

DSU Department of Chemistry has welcomed new five initiates in the Gamma Iota Chapter of Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry Honor Society.

Gamma Sigma Epsilon is a national chemistry honor society founded in 1919 at Davidson College. The original fraternity was established to promote academic excellence and undergraduate research scholarship in chemistry.

Inducted during a March 13 ceremony were Brandy Collins, Jamila Davis, Nia Jones, Linkeya Sample and Emily Uche.

The Gamma Iota Chapter is the only chapter that is located in the state of Delaware as well as one the few active chapters in among Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
