DSU Military & Veterans Team Shares National Career Opportunity with Military-Connected Community
Delaware State University’s Military & Veterans Team is encouraging military-affiliated students, veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses to participate in the upcoming Google Veterans Career Week 2026, a free virtual professional development and networking event taking place June 9–11, 2026.
Hosted by Google, the three-day event is designed to help members of the military-connected community explore civilian career pathways, strengthen professional skills, and connect with employers and industry professionals across multiple career sectors.
The event will feature:
- Career and industry panels
- Functional career roundtables
- Networking opportunities
- Executive fireside chats
- Professional development and skill-building sessions
- Career transition guidance and resources
“This is an excellent opportunity for our military-affiliated students and veterans to gain career insight, expand their professional network, and connect with organizations that value military experience and leadership,” said Lolita Treadwell, Director of DSU at Dover Air Force Base.
At Delaware State University, we believe military-affiliated student success extends beyond the classroom, because your service, your goals, your transition, and your future career aspirations… it all matters.
The virtual event is open to veterans, transitioning service members, military spouses and partners, Guard and Reserve members, and military-affiliated students.
Participants who register by Thursday, June 4 may also have an opportunity to be matched for a 30-minute one-on-one networking conversation with a Google employee.
DSU Military & Veterans Team continues to support military-affiliated students by sharing professional development opportunities, educational resources, and career pathways that assist students both during and after their academic journey.
Google Veterans Career Week 2026 is free to attend, but registration is required. Military-affiliated students and participants interested in the one-on-one networking opportunity are encouraged to register early.
