DSU to host alumni business showcase June 14

Delaware State University’s Office of Alumni Relations will host the Alumni Business Showcase on Friday, June 14, from noon to 3 p.m. at the MLK Patio.

The event will highlight businesses owned by DSU alumni, offering the campus community a chance to support, connect and celebrate Hornet entrepreneurs. In addition to alumni, the showcase will also feature ventures launched by current students, faculty and staff.

“We are excited to not only shine a spotlight on DSU alumni-owned businesses but also highlight those owned by students, staff and faculty,” said Tanisha L. Baker, Director of Strategic Alumni Engagement. “It has truly been a privilege to bring this event to life and celebrate entrepreneurship and innovation within our Hornet Nation.”

Dr. Dawn Mosley, Interim Administrator for Institutional Advancement and the DSU Foundation, said the showcase reflects the University’s commitment to lifelong engagement and economic empowerment.

“Our alumni are leading in industries across the country, and this event brings their success stories back to campus,” Mosley said. “It is about pride, visibility and creating meaningful connections that go beyond graduation.”
