Delaware State University President Tony Allen accented his transitional period by holding a Jan. 22 reception in Tubman-Laws Residence Hall, followed by the symbolic swearing-in at the regular Board of Trustees public meeting on the morning of Jan. 23

The reception was an opportunity for Dr. Allen to mix socially with students, staff, administrators and faculty. It was also an opportunity for Dr. Allen to further establish the tone of his administration with inspiring words that encouraged all to believe in the great possibilities for Delaware State University.
