Provost Tony Allen receives David G. Menser Award

Monday, October 22, 2018

Delaware State University Executive Vice President and Provost Dr. Tony Allen was recently recognized with the Wilmington Senior Center’s David G. Menser Award.

Dr. Allen received the award Oct. 18 at the center’s 14th Annual Lifetime Achievement Awards Reception at the Kalmar Nyckel - Copeland Maritime Museum in Wilmington.

The Wilmington Senior Center Board of Directors established this award in 2010 in memory of a beloved Board member and Brandywine Village community activist. The award recognizes a Delaware resident who, like its namesake, is committed to making the world a better place, with particular focus on students and those interested in the environment, historic preservation, music and neighbor revitalization.
