The University’s professors and instructors kicked off the 2018-2019 with the Aug. 24 Faculty Opening Institute, which was held at the Schwartz Center for the Arts in Downtown Dover under the theme “Of Service.”

Led by DSU Provost Tony Allen, the Faculty Institute highlights featured as presentation by Scott McDowell  of Apple Inc., who shared some of the possibilities that DSU faculty will have under the new digital initiative that the University is launching.

The event also allowed the faculty to get to know DSU President Wilma Mishoe through an on-stage Q&A that was facilitated by Dr. Francine Edwards, dean of the College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences.
