The Early College High School at Delaware State University held a ribbon-cutting ceremony November 15 in celebration of the opening of the Dr. Reba Ross Hollingsworth Counseling Center.

DSU First Lady Dr. Robin Williams; Provost Dr. Tony Allen; Vice President for Institutional Advancement Dr. Vita Pickrum; College of Education, Health and Public Policy Dean Dr. Marsha’ Horton; ECHS Director Dr. Evelyn Edney; and Alumna Mildred Holmes were among numerous supporters who gathered for this significant occasion honoring Hollingsworth’s extensive history in counseling and legacy at Delaware State University.

Dr. Hollingsworth graduated from the DSC Laboratory High School in 1945 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics in 1949 from then-Delaware State College.
