Great things happen for our students when our faculty are engaged in these collaborative endeavors,” said Dr. Crystal Timmons, Director of Clinical Placements and Partnerships.
Throughout the conferences, DSU faculty shared insights and facilitated discussions on several timely and impactful topics, including:
- The integration and application of Artificial Intelligence in pedagogy

The presentations not only showcased the department’s scholarly excellence but also reinforced Delaware State University’s growing influence in conversations surrounding innovation, equity, and collaboration in teacher education.
A special highlight of the week included the participation of Ed.D. student Mr. Darren Rainey, Sr., who co-presented alongside faculty colleagues. His contribution reflected Delaware State University’s commitment to cultivating emerging scholar-practitioners and supporting doctoral students as active contributors to national educational discourse.
“Mr. Rainey is a valuable member of the Education Department. He was instrumental in developing the content of the presentation, and it was only fitting for him to also participate in disseminating the information during the conference. Our hope is that we can continue to grow the number of scholar-practitioners in our doctoral programs who present alongside faculty in the EdD programs at these national and regional events,” said Dr. Tina Mitchell, Director of Graduate Education Programs.
The Education Department continues to build momentum through research, partnerships, and professional engagement that elevate both the institution and the communities it serves. Faculty members expressed enthusiasm for continuing to share their work nationally and contributing to meaningful progress in the field of education.
