Hornet Golf Classic
Please join us for the 2022 DSU Athletics Golf Event “The Hornet Classic” on Friday, May 20th, 2022!
The Delaware State University Athletics program is growing, and we need your support to increase scholarship and programming for our student athletes.
On May 20th, we will host our annual golf outing at Maple Dale Country Club in Dover, DE. We are looking for sponsors and we would love your support to enhance the athletics program at Delaware State. Every dollar raised goes directly to benefit student athletes spanning across all 16 Division-1 programs, being: Women’s Golf, Soccer, Basketball, Equestrian, Tennis, Volleyball, Cross Country, Triathlon, Track and Field, and Lacrosse, and Men’s Basketball, Track and Field, Cross Country, Baseball and Football.
As part of the fabric of the community that makes Dover, Delaware an amazing place to live, we are proud of the impact DSU, the only HBCU in the state, has on our student athletes. We foster great pride for our university and urge to give back to our local community. We want to continue offering scholarships to our athletes, which help us give them a fighting chance in the real world, athletically, athletically, and professionally. We want to remain competitive and build well rounded student athletes. Our motto for our student athletes is Champions, Scholars and Citizens!
You can be a part of the DSU Athletics team by sponsoring the tournament, hosting a foursome, or underwriting parts of the day itself. Even coming out support and spend the day with us at the course. Golf, food, and fun in the name of DSU Athletics. Your contribution to the day will help us reach our goals.
