Inspired Day of Service
Delaware State University will be hosting the 6th Annual Inspired Day of Service.
This day of service is an opportunity for us to demonstrate the core values of the university and a terrific opportunity for Inspire Scholars to work towards the completion of their community service requirements.
All registered volunteers will be provided with continental breakfast and a boxed lunch. This event is open to all current students of Delaware State University.

Inspired Day of Service
8:30 a.m. Check-In / Continental Breakfast
9:00 a.m. Opening Ceremony, Wellness and Recreation Center
9:45 a.m. Depart on buses to community service projects (boxed lunches provided for students)
- Wilmington, DE: Bellevue Community Center
Volunteers will work on various projects at the Bellevue Community center including building new benches for the pavilion in the community garden and a neighborhood cleanup around the center. - Wilmington, DE: West End Neighborhood House - FULL
Volunteers will help to guide children on a scavenger hunt and various team building exercises. - Milford, DE: Food Bank of Delaware
Volunteers will work packing food for Delawareans in need. - Georgetown, DE & Lewes, DE: Habitat for Humanity Restore
Volunteers will split between the two Habitat for Humanity Restore locations in Georgetown and Lewes to preform needed projects at each location.4:00 p.m. Buses departing from project areas back to campus
