Are you still trying to figure out which college to attend, but you’re unsure where to begin? Well, look no further! Delaware State University is your passport to your future! Pre COVID-19, we would pick you up and bring you to DSU. Now that times have changed, we will be hosting Hornet Days (LIVE) virtually!

What Are Hornet Days?

Hornet Days are designed to give high school seniors & transfer students the opportunity to see what it’s like to be a student at Delaware State University. You will have a chance to spend the day (virtually) with DSU students visiting classes, touring the campus, meeting faculty and student leaders, seeing the members of our Greek Organizations stroll, and much more.

Most importantly, you will have a chance to meet admissions counselors who will inform you of our admissions procedures, scholarship and financial aid opportunities, and maybe even accept you on the spot if you do the following:

Freshmen Students

  • Apply online in advance and submit the application fee
  • Submit the following documents in advance to admissionsdocs [at] desu.edu:
  • Official high school transcript (GPA of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale and a grade of ‘C’ or higher in 19 minimum course units is required.)
  • Official SAT (800 minimum on math and critical reading sections combined;after concordance) or ACT (17 minimum) scores

Transfer Students

  • Apply online in advance and submit the application fee
  • Submit Official Transcripts from all higher education institutions attended since high school can be mailed (sealed by the institution) or delivered through online services from the institution.

  • Submit official high school transcripts or GED scores if 30 or more college level credits have not been earned.
