Featuring

ROXANNE SHANTÉ is a pioneering hip-hop icon, cultural historian, and the first solo female MC to receive the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Her life inspired the acclaimed Netflix biopic Roxanne Roxanne, starring Chanté Adams, Nia Long, and Mahershala Ali. Today, she reaches more than seven million daily listeners as host of Have A Nice Day on LL COOL J’s Rock The Bells Radio (SiriusXM Ch. 43), where she blends humor, history, and unfiltered truth. Honored with the 2024 Hip-Hop Grandmaster Award—including a paid-in-full foundation recognition—Shanté continues to shape culture as a speaker, mentor, and advocate for artistic integrity, women’s empowerment, and the preservation of hip-hop’s legacy
