If My Hair Could Speak, Part 2 of The Natural You Series

2/28/2023
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center, Parlor C

The DSU Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council presents: If My Hair Could Speak, part 2 of The Natural You Series.

Your hair says a lot about you. Whether it’s a form of self-expression or a representation of your identity, hair means a lot.

Join the DE&I Council, S.W.A.U, and members of the Royal Court as we discuss the history of black hair, biases people of color face in terms of their hairstyles, the CROWN Act, and the promotion of natural hair acceptance.

Participate in a collaborative discussion, hear from our panel of experts, and enter to win free hair care products.

If you are a person with a disability and feel you may need a reasonable accommodation in order to equally participate in this event, please contact the Center for Disability Resources (CDR) at Delaware State University in advance of the event. Email: cdr [at] desu.edu | Phone: 302.857.7042
