Mission Statement
The Department of Residential Education and Services has a distinctive role to build community, develop and prepare students to make their mark as futureleaders. We collaborate with several partner offices to foster successful student transitions through and adjustment to her/his collegiate experience. We are committed to highlight educational opportunities for academic success, personal and intellectual development, and informal interaction with faculty. Our emphasis is for students to understand social and multi-dimensional human issues, take purposeful risks, and challenge them beyond their learned patterns of behavior. We intend to produce an environment that empower our students to deepen their learning, be involved in campus life and expand their comfort zone through independence and self-governance.
