  Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources

Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources (AGNR), a unit in the College of Agriculture and Related Sciences, is committed to the land-grant mission of the university, which is excellence in teaching, research and outreach. AGNR offers professional programs designed to prepare students for future academic and career paths, and technical courses designed to develop practical production and management skills. The Agriculture program offers a Bachelor of Science degree program with career options in:  Agri-business (AB curriculum), Animal and Poultry Science (APS curriculum), General Agriculture (GA curriculum), Plant Sciences (PS Agr. curriculum) or (PS Hort. curriculum), Equine Business Management (EBM curriculum), or Pre-veterinary Science (PV curriculum). The Natural Resources program offers a Bachelor of Science degree program with career options in: Environmental Science (ES curriculum), Fisheries and Wildlife Management (FM curriculum) or (WM curriculum). Students can select options in either Agriculture or Natural Resources that will provide preparation for graduate study. A Baccalaureate degree is conferred upon completion of a minimum of 120 hours of course work.
