DSU Food Biotechnology Summer Camp for High School Students
The Summer Food Biotechnology Camp is an exciting STEM program available at Delaware State University. It offers high school students current 8th graders the opportunity to gain hands-on research experience at the college level in the Food Science Program at DSU. Two camp options are available: Sign up for either July 6 - 10, 2020, or August 3 - 7, 2020, 9AM - 4PM each day.
This summer camp will expose students to food science research and techniques used, and allow them to explore the food science major offered at DSU. Participants will conduct experiments and learn valuable techniques including extracting DNA from food, bacterial cultivation, and more exciting activities.
Cost: $50 (includes lunch, lab supplies, and souvenir)
Participants must provide own transportation
