Testing Services and Programs
The mission of the Testing Services and Programs unit is to assist DSU students and the surrounding community in assessing their knowledge, skills, and abilities by providing a variety of programming to engage and promote credentialing certification exams. This is accomplished through written and computerized adapted assessments, testing instruments and programming.
Testing Services and Programs is committed to promoting an innovative and diverse environment that encourages staff and stakeholder growth and development. TSP sets the standard of excellence by providing quality services to our DSU community and the surrounding areas in the Delmarva and Atlantic Regions. Our partnership and outreach efforts align us with DSU core values and goals 2 and 6 and KPIs 4, 12 and 13 as our focus areas.
Our vision is to provide integrated testing services and programs that will serve our DSU community and surrounding area in the Atlantic Region. Delaware State University, Testing Services, and Programs offers a variety of credentialing certification exams and customized career readiness platforms that enable participants to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing and highly competitive global economy. Areas targeted are professional and technical industry occupational testing and credentialing, academic and student success workshops and soft skills acquisition.
TSP has over 100 vendors and offers over 2,000 credentialing exams. DSU’s Testing Services and Programs subscribes to the testing guidelines, standards and procedures of the National College Testing Association (NCTA) and part of the Consortium of College Testing Centers (CTCC).
Effective October 15, 2015 a $15 reschedule fee for all test candidates.

TSP Process for DSU students with special accommodations:
Testing Services and Programs is here to provide proctor services to students with documented special accommodations. In order to find out further information about student accessibility requirements, please contact the Student Accessibility Services Office in the library on the 2nd floor. The process for coordinating proctoring services requires faculty or their authorized staff to hand deliver exams to the TSP office in the Thomasson Building Suite 202. Faculty and staff must sign the DSU Courtesy Test Log when dropping off and picking up exams. All students must contact (302) 857-6144 to make an appointment.
TSP adheres to the highest level of standards in testing integrity and security. All TSP Testing personnel are certified proctors with a wealth of knowledge and experience of testing procedures. Testing Services and Programs subscribes to testing guidelines, standards and procedures of the National College Testing Association (NCTA) and is a part of the Consortium of College Testing Centers. Our office serves as the NCTA liaison for Delmarva.

In the event of bad weather or other emergencies, be advised that DSU Testing Services and Programs announces test center closings or delayed openings on radio station 97.7FM and 88.7FM .
