Division of Student Life
On behalf of the Division of Student Life, I welcome you to the Student Life section of the web site.
Student Life at Delaware State University is committed to providing our student body opportunities to enhance their out-of-class experience. There are several ways to take advantage of such opportunities. Our Department of Residence Life offers several community building programs in which you can participate, or you can apply to be a Resident Assistant when the positions open. Judicial Affairs and International Student Services offer opportunities to help encourage our students to maintain and uphold our Code of Conduct at Delaware State University. They provide specialized services for our diverse international community as well, such as advising and consultation.
Intramural Sports offers the opportunity to stay healthy through several sport and recreational programs such as Flag Football, Basketball, Football, Soccer, Field Hockey and many more. Student Leadership and Activities provides diverse campus-wide programs and activities ranging from lectures to cultural events to comedy shows to bus trips. Student Health Services is here to ensure that our student body has the resources it needs to maintain a healthy lifestyle through preventative health intervention, vaccines, and educational programs.
I am confident you will ‘find your place’ in our learning community. As our motto states, we expect our students to “Enter to Learn, Go Forth to Serve.” If there is anything we can do to enhance your DSU experience, feel free to contact us. Also, please visit the link to our bi-annual newsletter, ‘The Student Affair’ located on this page to find out what’s been happening in Student Life!
Sincerely,
Lowan Pitt
