Welcome to the College of Business (SOM) at Delaware State University. The College of Business has made a firm commitment to prepare our students to function effectively in a competitive and dynamic global economy. We are continuously improving our curricula and programs to provide students with the analytical, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to make a successful transition from the “classroom” to the “boardroom.”
Our students have the opportunity to study with experienced and highly trained professors who are committed to the success of each student. The faculty provides a challenging learning environment that is responsive to students’ needs and to the needs of the national and international business communities. They work closely with all students to ensure that individual students acquire the knowledge and skills that
will serve them well in whatever career they choose.
The College of Business is located in the Bank of America Building – a modern facility that houses state-of-the-art classrooms, conference rooms, distance learning capabilities, study rooms, student and faculty lounges and computer labs. The comfortable classrooms equipped with multi-media presentation equipment enhance the teaching and learning environment. The SOM takes pride in providing modern facilities, maintained in first-class condition so that students can experience the best environment in which to learn and simulate their future corporate work environments.
