Graduate Student Research Symposium
Delaware State University invites all graduate students to participate in the Fifth Annual Graduate Student Research Symposium. This activity will be held in the Bank of America Building, located on the Dover campus of Delaware State University, on April 17, 2015. The symposium will showcase the diverse areas of scholarship on our campus as well as provide networking opportunities for graduate peers, faculty, staff, and community participants.
Our theme, Celebrating 125 Years of Access and Opportunity, highlights Delaware State University’s historical founding as a result of the Second Morrill Act of 1890 requiring the inclusion of African Americans in the U.S. Land-Grant University Higher Education System without discrimination. Additionally, it highlights our continued commitment to providing access and opportunity to the citizens of the State of Delaware and beyond. To this end, The School of Graduate Studies and Research is proud to foster this initiative and looks forward to university-wide participation.
The Symposium is the primary outreach activity sponsored by The Graduate Student Association, The School of Graduate Studies and Research , and The Graduate Council.
The event is free to all DSU students, faculty and community participants however all participants must register by April 1, 2015.
If you are planning to present a poster or oral presentation your abstract must be submitted by March 20, 2015. Learn how to submit your abstract for presentation .
