Housing and Residential Education

The Residence Halls at Delaware State University are more than just a place to sleep. Out-of-classroom learning experiences will account for a significant amount of the students' experience here at Delaware State University. We encourage students to use their time in university housing to participate in activities, develop new friendships, and learn more about themselves and others who live in their community.

Living on campus provides many new freedoms and personal choices, e.g., decisions about when to sleep, study, eat and relax. Responsibilities also accompany these freedoms. Students are expected to be considerate and respectful of other residents, to do their part to promote a safe and secure environment, and to commit themselves to academic course work and the core values of Delaware State University.

The Residential Education team assists student residents in taking full advantage of all the resources the university offers. Whether first-year students or those pursuing graduate degrees, we feel confident that we can offer a co-curricular environment that will enhance the overall success during each student’s tenure at DSU.

Throughout this website we've tried to provide valuable information for new and returning students, plus parents. Please use the links to view the various features offered within our residence halls.

We look forward to see you during your next visit to campus. if you have questions related to residence hall living, please do not hesitate to contact us at housing@desu.edu [1]

Sincerely,
Matthew Fortune
Acting Director, Department of Housing and Residential Education
