The Game
The MEAC/SWAC Challenge is an annual Historically Black College football game showcasing a team from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference and the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The game is played annually at a neutral site. The MEAC/SWAC Challenge is an ESPN Regional TV (ERT) owned and operated event.
This year's game features the Delaware State University Hornets versus the Southern University Jaguars on September 5th, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. live on ESPN from the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida.

Message from the President
Welcome to the Delaware State University MEAC/SWAC Challenge home page. It is with great pride that I announce that the DSU Hornets Football Team has been invited to play against the Southern University Jaguars on Labor Day Weekend in the 6th Annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge sponsored by ESPN and Disney.
This is a tremendous opportunity to demonstrate pride and support for DSU as our football team and band represent us in the game of a lifetime in Orlando. The Citrus Bowl stadium boasts a capacity of 74,000 so DSU needs your support in filling the seats and cheering on our team and our band.
DSU staff has been working diligently to provide all the information you will need to participate and enjoy the Orlando attractions here on this site. Send the link to family, friends and alumni, this will be an exciting and unique opportunity to get away, relax and show the SWAC fans that MEAC fans are a force to be reckoned with.
