Congratulations Class of 2008!
Delaware State University (DSU) conferred a school record 591 degrees during its 116th Commencement Exercises at Alumni Stadium on May 18. The class included 115 honors scholars, as well as the first four graduates of its Educational Leadership Doctoral Program. Clark Kent Ervin, the first (and former) inspector general of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, gave the keynote address and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Honor by DSU President Dr. Allen Sessoms. On May 17, Dr. Dudley E. Flood, a retired North Carolina education administrator, served as keynote speaker during the 2008 Honors Program. In addition, several awards were given to student leaders and academic standouts.
The DSU faculty and staff would like to offer best wishes to the Class of 2008!
