Requirements
necessary for admission to Pre-Nursing
Level
- Admission to Delaware State University
- Students who have not had biology and chemistry courses in high school or have a grade of less than a B must take an introductory level Biology 100 and Chemistry 100 prior to taking Anatomy Physiology I and Chemistry for Health Sciences respectively. Students will only have two opportunities to successfully complete Anatomy and Physiology I and II (this includes withdrawals and grades of D or F).
Requirements
for Admission to Clinical Nursing
Level
- GPA of 2.8
- Successful completion of the Nurse Entrance Examination (NET) is required of all students (Minimum NET scores are designated by Nursing Faculty and are subject to change). The NET may only be taken twice.
- Completion of all year-one course requirements according to the program of study with a grade of C or better.
- Completion of the Online Clinical Nursing Progression Application. All applications are due by May 25th 2008. Late applications will NOT be accepted
