Antique Tractor Show
The First State Antique Tractor Club will be exhibiting 12 or more antique tractors near the front of the campus Friday and Saturday.
Arts and Crafts Show
The Arts and Crafts show will be held in air conditioned Memorial Hall Gym on Friday and Saturday from 10am to 8pm. Kent County Tourism is our partner for this event. Click here for rules, regulations and application. For any additional information, call Dr. Rebecca Fox-Lykens at 302-857-7362.
Baby Chicks/Educational Display
The baby chicks and educational information about the chicken industry will be presented by the Delmarva Poultry Industry, Inc. in Conrad Hall across from the giant fry pan. For additional information, call Connie Parvis at 302-856-9037.
Carnival
The carnival will open with a preview Thursday night from 6-10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 12-10 p.m. It is at the front of the campus. For any additional information, call Matt Millet at 302-857-7087.
Chicken Capers
The Chicken Capers are fun competitions for kids of all ages put on by the Delmarva Poultry Industry, Inc. Capers will be on Saturday from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. in front of Delaware Hall. For additional information, call Connie Parvis at 302-856-9037.
Chicken Meets the Chef
An exciting joint effort between the Delaware Department of Agriculture (DDA) and Delmarva Poultry Industry, Inc. (DPI), Chicken Meets the Chef, will spotlight five local, talented chefs who will each conduct two-hour cooking demonstrations during the June 18 and 19 Delmarva Chicken Festival at Delaware State University (DSU). Each chef will prepare two chicken recipes featuring Delmarva-grown chicken in combination with other in-season, locally grown Delaware agricultural products. Samples of prepared dishes will be shared with festival visitors.
Chicken Meets the Chef will take place in the new Martin Luther King Student Center on the DSU campus. Two chefs will be featured on Friday afternoon between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Three chefs will appear on Saturday between 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. The event will be open to the public.

Children's Activities
Various activities from 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday to include educational and fun activities such as moon bounce, climbing wall, painting, quilting, music, dance, pony rides, little trains, fashion show and entertainment. Delaware State University Car Show
The Delaware State University Car Show will be Saturday, June 19 from 10am -4pm. All cars must be in place and registered by 9:30am. Preregistration fee is $10.00; on site registration fee is $15.00. Space is limited. Dash Plaques will be given to the first 75 cars. Trophies will be awarded based on participant voting. Enter the Delaware State University Campus off of College Rd at the most western entrance near the creek. Click here to preregister. For information call Bud Wagner at 734-1823.
Entertainment
Entertainment will be available throughout the day Friday and Saturday and will include music, dance, presentations, and instruments. For additional information, call Brenda Farmer at 302-857-6082.
Food Vendors
Food vendors will be open from 10 a.m. -10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. There will be a few vendors located near the Carnival that will also be available Thursday night evening from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. The other vendors will be located near the giant fry pan at the west end of the mall. Giant Fry Pan
The original world’s largest fry pan will be located at the west end of the mall to sell fried chicken Friday and Saturday from 11a.m. -8 p.m. In partnership with the local Rotary Clubs, we will sell shorties, platters and tubs of fried chicken. All proceeds to Rotary will go to abolish polio worldwide.
Home and Trade Show
The Home and Trade Show will be held Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. in the air conditioned new Wellness and Recreation Center. Opening Ceremony

Petting Zoo
A petting zoo will be located in front of Loockerman Hall near the baby chicks display.
